Renal Glycosuria
The persistent urinary excretion of glucose at normal blood glucose levels and, therefore, normal filtered loads of glucose, is a benign disorder. The specific proximal tubular defect is inherited by either autosomal dominant or autosomal recessive genetics. Renal glycosuria is not associated with a risk of developing diabetes mellitusand requires no treatment.
